Spiritual but not Religious»: One, None or One Hundred Thousand ? A Study on Young Italians based on an online survey conducted in January 2018 at the University of Turin, the article examines the relationship between young people and spirituality, with particular reference to those who identify themselves as « spiritual but not religious » (snr). The research aimed to bring out the diversity within the group of students who declare themselves snrs, starting from an exploration of the socio-demographic profile and religious and spiritual attitudes of this group : Who are the snrs and what studies do they undertake ? What does spirituality mean and how important is it to them ? Can different meanings of spirituality be detected in this group or does a dominant trend prevail ?
