The article studies the theme of memory in the generational literary journal "Los Sesenta", edited by Max Aub in Mexico from 1964 to 1966. After a first approach to Aub's conception of memory, it reconstructs the history of the publication, connected with other editorial ventures of the author, such as the unipersonal review "Sala de espera" or the collection "Patria y ausencia", which was frustrated. The texts written by the exiled León Felipe, Manuel Altolaguirre and Concha Méndez are then analysed, in order to finally interpret Aub's project within his extensive production on memory.
