This contribution examines Homebound Education in Italy, focusing especially on results from a national survey on the educational use of technologies with students who, for health reasons, cannot attend traditional educational tracks on a regular basis. Analysis of these results has yielded indications that modes of technology use are not always wholly appropriate for facing the issues that arise. However, when grounded on effective educational models and strategies, technology-supported approaches could provide precious help in the socio-educational inclusion of homebound students.

Abstract
This contribution examines Homebound Education in Italy, focusing especially on results from a national survey on the educational use of technologies with students who, for health reasons, cannot attend traditional educational tracks on a regular basis. Analysis of these results has yielded indications that modes of technology use are not always wholly appropriate for facing the issues that arise. However, when grounded on effective educational models and strategies, technology-supported approaches could provide precious help in the socio-educational inclusion of homebound students.File in questo prodotto:
