Sviluppo sostenibile, sviluppo umano e nuove tecnologie digitali oltre l'Agenda 2030 delle NU: alla ricerca di una visione integrata

The link between sustainable development, human development and new technologies is evident but nonetheless lacking a precise assessment in the relevant international law sources and among scholars. In particular, the UN 2030 Agenda, though strongly focused on the sustainability perspective, neglects numerous aspects of interaction with both new technologies and human development perspective. This contribution aims at offering a possible model to (re)consider such an interaction, with a particular attention to how the sustainability perspective should be reinterpreted through the transformative lens of new technologies. Given these preconditions, a more proactive role of the UN for setting elements for an integrated framework, leading us beyond the 2030 Agenda perspective, is advocated.
