“L’enjambement tra visione e invisibilità: uno studio fonetico sulla realizzazione prosodica dell’inarcatura nella poesia italiana”

This research is part of a wider work carried out within the VIP-Voices of Italian Poets project. We will present the prosodic properties of different vocal interpretations in the presence of the rhetorical poetic figure of enjambment, identified in two Italian compositions by two authors of the second half of the twentieth century. The qualitative and comparative descriptions of the organisational and intonational choices allow to highlight cases of convergence and divergence in the adopted choices on rejet, contre-rejet and surrounding structures, also allowing a different prosodic parsing. The research shows the prevalence of certain tendencies and a rich internal behavioural variety in the presence of this valuable rhetorical phenomenon, confirming the potential of a linguistic application to this area of investigation.
