The paper deals with the teaching of the Constitution at school in Italy, placing it in the current context of the crisis of democracy and of the rapid and "epochal" changes that are affecting our societies. After a review of these issues, the work focuses on the "political" meaning - in the proper sense of the term, concerning the pòlis - of teaching the Constitution at school today and on the evolution of Italian legislation, up to the law n. 92/2019, which reintroduced (in a renewed form) the school teaching of Civic Education.

Abstract
