Risk factors for recurrence of uterine smooth muscle tumor of uncertain malignant potential (STUMP) were investigated in a large, multicenter retrospective series. Surgical fragmentation/morcellation, epithelioid features, high proliferation activity, low progesterone receptor, and p16 diffuse expression are related to recurrence.
