At its 67th session, the UN Committee on economic social and cultural rights adopted the General Comment No. 25 on Science and Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The present contribution aims at providing a critical analysis of the document and exploring ways in which it can serve as a useful basis for all rights holders, duty bearers, courts and tribunals dealing with the right to science.
