Data collection from ethnographic research poses relevant challenges on both theoretical and methodological points of view. In the present article the description of a case study in the context of the housing emergency is an opportunity to highlight the importance of choosing the method for achieving the research objectives. In particular, photo elicitation methodology is investigated as a privileged technique to enter into dialogue with the specific section of the population characterized by social fragility. This provides a way to relate to individuals, with the aim to investigate their visions of the world. The results of this kind of analysis showed to be generative of awareness, if well anchored to a relationship of trust between researchers and interviewees. A similar condition can be achieved through a process respecting the needs of every participant involved in the study.

Abstract
A similar condition can be achieved through a process respecting the needs of every participant involved in the study.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
