Data collection from ethnographic research poses relevant challenges on both theoretical and methodolog- ical points of view. In the present article the description of a case study in the context of the housing emer- gency is an opportunity to highlight the importance of choosing the method for achieving the research ob- jectives. In particular, photo elicitation methodology is investigated as a privileged technique to enter into dialogue with the specific section of the population characterized by social fragility. This provides a way to relate to individuals, with the aim to investigate their visions of the world. The results of this kind of analy- sis showed to be generative of awareness, if well anchored to a relationship of trust between researchers and interviewees. A similar condition can be achieved through a process respecting the needs of every participant involved in the study.

Abstract
A similar condition can be achieved through a process respecting the needs of every participant involved in the study.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
