This article features the Church Slavonic translation of the Latin hymn “Te Deum”, which is located in the appendix to the Commentated Psalter compiled by Bruno of Würzburg in the first half of the 11th century. The Slavonic text belongs to the pen of Dmitry Gerasimov, a well-known translator and former member of the Circle of Gennadii, the archbishop of Novgorod the Great and Pskov from 1484 to 1504. After a textual comparison of the extant copies and a short linguistic analysis of the translation technique, a critical edition of the Slavic translation (first half of the 16th century) is proposed for the first time, with the parallel interlinear Latin text according to a printed edition from the late 15th century.
