Jewish childhood was largely saved in Italy from deportation and extermination through a complex combination of courage on the part of parents, encounters with generous people, actions and strategies implemented by secular and religious organizations, silence, and concrete help. They were months of fear, isolation, changes of names and places, and sometimes of games, adventures and attempts of adults to build simulacra of normality. The essay tries to identify the stages, strategies, and protagonists of that salvation who were trying to enhance the experience and the voices of boys and girls.

Abstract
Jewish childhood was largely saved in Italy from deportation and extermination through a complex combination of courage on the part of parents, encounters with generous people, actions and strategies implemented by secular and religious organizations, silence, and concrete help. They were months of fear, isolation, changes of names and places, and sometimes of games, adventures and attempts of adults to build simulacra of normality. The essay tries to identify the stages, strategies, and protagonists of that salvation who were trying to enhance the experience and the voices of boys and girls.File in questo prodotto:
