Abstract
The title of this contribution was written during the summer of 2020, in that brief interlude between the first and the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic that brought about the closure of public places and restrictions on circulation due to an increase in infections the following autumn. While rereading these thoughts during the following summer, it became evident that the culture sector – and, more specifically, theatre – could not fully identify with that ‘post’ prefix, which has been provocatively crossed out from the title. The graphic sign eliminates the word from the discourse, not from the gaze, thus highlighting how the sectors of production, distribution, theatrical programming and academic research are still mired in the quagmire of uncertainty and the unknown.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
