The work focuses on the figure of the German philosopher Peter Sloterdijk (Kalrsruhe, 1946), and aims at a reconstruction of his thought regarding the topic of the "subject", intended both as an individual subject and as a collective, social subject. The six chapters of the book are presented as a reconstruction of Sloterdijk’s philosophical theories on the formation of individual subjectivity (especially at the anthropogenetic level) as well as of collective subjectivity. In this way, it is possible to show the evolution of the author's theses at the diachronic level, and at the same time in comparison with some of his theoretical referents, namely Thomas Macho and Roberto Esposito.
