In this letter we propose a novel decoder for Luby transform codes over noisy channel based on Gaussian elimination algorithm. The proposed soft-on-the-fly Gaussian elimination algorithm permits to perform most reliable basis decoding while distributing the complexity all along the symbols reception, and reducing the latency due to new decoding attempts in case of decoding failures.
