The article focuses on some findings from a national research project on Generation Z’s perceptions and experiences of cyberviolence. The interest of the research is to analyse the knowledge, behaviour and opinions of young people between the ages of 18 and 25 with regard to cyberviolence issues and experiences in social platforms. Specifically, the online survey (which collected and analysed a total of 2365 cases) aimed to explore how Generation Z know about and experience this phenomenon, and to investigate this generation’s views on the best and most appropriate ways to address the problem. As noted in literature, ‘Generation Z’ refers to the generation following the Millennials, those born between 1997 and 2010.
