This is a survey on the relationship between the so called “Regionalists” and the European integration. The first part tries to better define the identity and the key features of these “Regionalists”, also considering several statements, political programmes and other documents and facts. The second one focuses on the four-stages evolution of their ideological and concrete approach to Europe: it is pro Europe, but it’s critical, asking for “more Europe” and for a “different Europe”
