Starting from Taylor, Ford up to the recent era with Collieur, Siegler and others, the historical industrial evolution has taken a more “lean”, circular and sustainable shape. Abandoned industrial assets are revalued through new forms of economic consumption that involve various market players in a synergistic and harmon- ic way. This approach is well represented by the model of innovation of the “quintuple helix” that identifies as main actors the university, enterprises, government, citizens and the environment. On this research path, this contribution discusses the regeneration of industrial heritage in reference to one of the most interesting and innovative Italian cities, Turin. De factum, in recent years Turin has distinguished itself as an innovative and “smart” city, acquiring a different identity from the more traditional one of an industrial city. Its urban context, moreover, shows how the synergy of the ecosystem accelerated by a tangible and intangible technological network can regenerate the “green heart of the city”, that is Valentino Park, and lead the economic and territorial strategic choices towards sustainability, inclusiveness and environmental respect.

Abstract
Its urban context, moreover, shows how the synergy of the ecosystem accelerated by a tangible and intangible technological network can regenerate the “green heart of the city”, that is Valentino Park, and lead the economic and territorial strategic choices towards sustainability, inclusiveness and environmental respect.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
