This contribution aims to offer some food for thought and highlight critical elements in terms of innovative startups. Thanks to the data collected following specific monitoring, peculiarities and problems common to all the innovative businesses interviewed emerge. Of particular interest, in particular as regards future prospects, is the fact that from the monitoring open legal questions emerge and the evident need to adapt the legal profession market to the demand for skills, including economic and managerial skills, which are not yet part of the cultural background of today's jurists.
