In 1967 and 1968, filmaker and critic Jonas Mekas curated two extensive New America Cinema Group expositions in Turin (Italy) in collaboration with a cultural circle called Unione culturale. The paper aims at offering a guided tour through the archives of Unione culturale as a way to tell the story of those memorable seasons via letters, telegrams, pictures, programmes, posters and the press.
