Abstract
In contemporary mediascapes, the idea of myth, traditionally associated with truth, seems to have assumed an eminently dysphoric connotation, based on a presumed “illusory” or “lying” (in Greimassian terms) characterisation of contemporary digital narratives, and the consequent need to “debunk” them. This paper investigates such a transformation, drawing on existing literature and observing some relevant case studies in order to answer a fundamental question: have new media generated new myths?File in questo prodotto:
