The challenge of artificial intelligence in healthcare seems to have been launched. Numerous applications and connections are now possible thanks to the use of data and collaboration between information systems. Despite the multiple studies published so far in the scientific literature by academics or in the professional literature by managers and healthcare professionals, there are no comparisons and exploratory investigations between the two sources of thought. The book chapter aims to investigate the link between artificial intelligence and healthcare by understanding how technology and deep learning can change pre-existing scenarios. The chapter proposes an experimental research perspective. Indeed, on the one hand, we select 102 peer-reviewed articles from Scopus in business, management and accounting; on the other hand, 64 articles from blogs, newspapers and journals from the Europresse database. The results suggest to us that the discussion covers topics such as applications, integration and challenges. However, differences in thinking between the two groups exist. In particular, we find that practitioners require academics to design technology and develop a theory to apply artificial intelligence. Finally, we conclude by providing practical and managerial implications through the McKinsey 7S Framework.

Abstract
Finally, we conclude by providing practical and managerial implications through the McKinsey 7S Framework.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
