The article represents the first attempt to systematise Claudia Castellucci's complex artistic career in the field of dance. In particular of the historical and theoretical aspects that concern, from 1989 to the present, the Cesena artist's projects around the notions of school, dance and choreographic composition. Through the comparison and analysis of published and unpublished texts, which comprehensively gives a rich set of documentary references, the authors address the two main polarities of Castellucci's artistic activity, the pedagogical one and the more properly productive one, focusing especially on the period of the Mòra School. A picture of strong theoretical intensity emerges. If, on the one hand, choreographic art and thought on movement tend to converge towards the key concepts of time and rhythm, on the other hand, school and behaviour tend to define, for its participants, not only and primarily a basic technical condition, but also an existential horizon, a subtle politics of resistance.
