Introduzione: temi ambientali

In this brief introduction, the authors explain the ways in which environmental issues have gained ever greater centrality within Meridiana. The attention to environmental issues arose from the intersection between the more traditional reflections around the territory category and those around the destructive implications of modernization processes. The journal is therefore increasingly interested in making a research contribution to deepening these themes that so dramatically characterize our present. This issue contains free essays proposed in recent months and which, after the positive outcome of the referee, were put together for publication.
