Dynamica de Potentia et Legibus Naturae Corporeae Tentamen Scientiae Novae: Édition, présentation, traduction et annotation

Leibniz planned to publish his great treatise of the Dynamica, which he had worked out during his trip to Italy (1689-90). In the end, he refrained from publishing it, and the text was not published until 1860 by Gerhard. What is special about this critical edition is that it brings together all of Leibniz's autograph drafts, the intermediate copies, and the final copy intended for publication. Its aim is also to reconstruct Leibniz's complete edition plan by adding the supplements (miscellanea), articles in learned journals, and studies on various astronomical and natural philosophical topics that Leibniz intended to append to the main work.
