This research provides an initial assessment of UCIL-IC (Unita collaborative international learning in intercomprehension), a project that has laid the foundations for plurilingual communication within the UNITA virtual international learning community. In anticipation of the continuation of the UNITA project (2023-2027), after having carried out this didactic experiment for two years in a row, we are drawing up an initial assessment of the training by closely observing the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for the UNITA community, as well as the threats that are likely to hinder its continuation. The questions we will ask ourselves will be finalised with an understanding of what we will need to keep in the future or change to ensure the continuity of the UCIL-IC project. We will be looking for answers, among other things, in the forum on the UNITA Moodle platform, in the video recordings of the working group meetings, in the learners' logbooks, in the questionnaires administered at the beginning and end of the courses, and in the exchanges between the teachers.
