In this study, we discuss the oral data, collected through the ALiR questionnaire, of an 87‑year‑old person born and living in the village of Celle di San Vito (FG), a linguistic outpost together with neighbouring Faeto (FG), in which Francoprovençal is still spoken. The description of certain phonetic changes allows us to outline several peculiarities of this variety. The survey, which was carried out in 2021 and resulted in a speech archive available in digital format, is intended to serve as reference material of a dialect that, in addition to having undergone contact with neighbouring Southern Italian varieties over time, is probably destined to become extinct as it is spoken by fewer and fewer people.
