Abstract
The chapter stresses that finishing reconstruction of the core values of EU Contract Law should ‘come first’ in restarting the project of developing a EU private (and contract) law and scholarship. My argument has both a descriptive and a normative dimension. The former consists in noting that it is the tension for values that may ensure some coherence in EU contract law and scholarship by offering an opportunity to find a common ground in a pluralistic EU contract law. The second and most important requirement is that these pursue an interpretation of EU Contract Law that goes in the direction of substantive equalityFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
