Perforated flint objects are known from many Late Chalcolithic sites in the Southern Levant, mainly in the Galilee, Golan Heights and Jordan Valley, and they are considered one of the hallmarks of the Late Chalcolithic material culture. The present paper focuses on a group of perforated flint objects found at Tel Turmus, a Late Chalcolithic site located in the Hula Valley, Israel. Tel Turmus features the largest assemblage of perforated flint objects found at one site. The paper presents the perforated flint objects found at Tel Turmus, discusses their characteristics and compares them to recently published data from other Chalcolithic sites in the Southern Levant, thus adding another important assemblage to the collection of perforated flint objects.

Abstract
Perforated flint objects are known from many Late Chalcolithic sites in the Southern Levant, mainly in the Galilee, Golan Heights and Jordan Valley, and they are considered one of the hallmarks of the Late Chalcolithic material culture. The present paper focuses on a group of perforated flint objects found at Tel Turmus, a Late Chalcolithic site located in the Hula Valley, Israel. Tel Turmus features the largest assemblage of perforated flint objects found at one site. The paper presents the perforated flint objects found at Tel Turmus, discusses their characteristics and compares them to recently published data from other Chalcolithic sites in the Southern Levant, thus adding another important assemblage to the collection of perforated flint objects.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
