This chapter draws attention to the importance of fostering critical thinking in primary school through the practice of argument, thus training the new generations to make smart choices in digital social activities (social platforms, and more advanced technologies such as robots). As far as the relationship between the digital and the physical is concerned, onlife is analysed as an on- tological transformation of our lives at all scales. In the following section, some remarks on the risks of the Web are put forward. Four types of risks are discussed: content risks, conduct risks, contact risks and consumer risks. Eager to move across transmedia contexts, children and adolescents are exposed to cyberbullying, which is described in broad terms. Finally, given the risks and dangers of the use and misuse of technologies, Web opportunities are exam- ined, as well as the need to invest in training teachers and educators on Media education to gain greater awareness of the digital world.
