Historically, humanity has developed various religious traditions in an attempt to understand its place in the universe. These traditions, based on myths that often include stories of the creation of the world, vary according to the cultures from which they originate. The same deities that are considered responsible for creation are anthropomorphised and represented as female, male or hybrid figures. These cosmogonic ideas, transmitted through sacred texts or oral tradition, have influenced, and sometimes still influence, humanity's relationship with nature and its perception of space for thousands of years. Careful consideration should also be given to the role that the interpretation of certain religious beliefs has played in justifying gender oppression and discrimination throughout the world, although this is not the focus here. In this short paper, we have tried to focus on those aspects of various faiths that promote and venerate female power, especially through the relationship between people and places, whether mythological or real, but always geographical.

Abstract
In this short paper, we have tried to focus on those aspects of various faiths that promote and venerate female power, especially through the relationship between people and places, whether mythological or real, but always geographical.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
