The article highlights the importance of the PGLPIL’s rules and the matter of jurisdiction clauses. It deals with the topic of written form, presents the types of choice-of-court agreements. It also examines the suggested rules of the PGLPIL on lis pendens with specific regard to cases involving choice-of-court agreements. The article concludes that it would be a good for the international trade if Colombia adopted the 2005 Hague Convention.
