The Vercelli Book is a manuscript dating back to the end of the 10th century, containing miscellaneous religious works, in verse and prose. The importance of this codex cannot be exaggerated because together with the three other codexes of the 10th century (Exeter Book, Cotton Vitellius A XV, ms Junius), the VB preserves about the 90% of all Anglo-Saxon poetic production, and it is the only one not preserved in England. In this second edition we publish a complete digital facsimile, with high-resolution images (single and double-sided), and all the texts both in poetry (Andreas, The Dream of the Cross, The Fates of the Apostles, Homiletic Fragment I, Elene, Soul and Body) and in prose (Homilies I-XXIII), presented on two levels of edition (diplomatic and interpretative). This digital edition offers tools to browse and study images and texts.
