By tracing the genealogy of structuralist semiotics, particularly through the works of Ferdinand de Saussure, Algirdas J. Greimas, and Umberto Eco, the paper highlights the shifts from rigid structures to more fluid and dynamic interpretations of meaning. Special attention is given to the contributions of post-structuralist thinkers who redefined the concepts of time, narrative, and values within semiotics.
