The project of the Grande Galleria, inaugurated in 1608, was conceived by Duke Carlo Emanuele I as a theatre of all sciences, inspired by the principles of encyclopedism. The Ducal Library, within this microcosm, was classified in 11 tripartite classes, and contained inside the texts referring to different disciplinary sectors of the period. This paper aims to offer a picture of the criteria of identification and bibliographic representation that were used to identify the bibliographic units of the fourth section of the library, dedicated to works of philosophy, starting from the descriptions of Giulio Torrini's inventory of 1659: source of primary importance on the content of the Ducal Library and its arrangement within the Grande Galleria.

Abstract
The project of the Grande Galleria, inaugurated in 1608, was conceived by Duke Carlo Emanuele I as a theatre of all sciences, inspired by the principles of encyclopedism. The Ducal Library, within this microcosm, was classified in 11 tripartite classes, and contained inside the texts referring to different disciplinary sectors of the period. This paper aims to offer a picture of the criteria of identification and bibliographic representation that were used to identify the bibliographic units of the fourth section of the library, dedicated to works of philosophy, starting from the descriptions of Giulio Torrini's inventory of 1659: source of primary importance on the content of the Ducal Library and its arrangement within the Grande Galleria.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
