Forme e funzioni di per quanto riguarda SN. Una descrizione basata su corpus ed una spiegazione cognitiva

The aim of this paper is to provide a description and explanation of the forms and functions of the Italian expression per quanto riguarda NP. We will analyze its formal variation and different functions, using quantitative data and examples from a corpus. We will present its assigned pragmatic function as a thematic marker and also consider the informational units where the expression can appear, to understand all uses of per quanto riguarda NP, not just the thematic ones. Thus, we will relate the various functions performed by the expression to a single cognitive function: the reference-point function.
