The Memoranda project explores the interconnection between collective memory, cultural heritage, and technological innovation, aiming to promote active aging and intergenerational dialogue. Using immersive technologies such as virtual and augmented reality, historical and cultural objects and sites are enhanced, transforming them into tools for learning, inclusion, and identity reinterpretation. The project represents a unique vital strategy for memory, as it counters the loss of past perception through the living language of material objects and the tangible imagery of life over time. In this process, shared memory itself becomes a vehicle for social cohesion, proposing a participatory model that integrates material history, personal narrative, and digital engagement. Specifically, through immersive virtual journeys, Memoranda documents key episodes of the Resistance in the Cuneo area, linking domestic spaces, historical trails, and symbolic objects to a narrative and social dimension. The technological applications foster inclusive access to heritage, breaking down physical and geographical barriers, and contribute to preserving traces of the past for future generations. Beyond its cultural value, virtual immersion offers therapeutic benefits: it stimulates memory in older adults, encourages empathy in younger generations, and creates opportunities for shared reflection on the present and its historical roots. The project lays the groundwork for a new form of social and cultural citizenship, where tradition and innovation meet to strengthen community bonds and civic engagement. It emphasizes significant social systems, such as the sociocultural reproduction system and the biopsychic reproduction system. Memoranda collaborates with the “Luciano Gallino” Laboratory for Simulation of Behavior and Educational Robotics at the Department of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of Turin, to which the authors of this contribution are affiliated.
