This paper provides a brief introduction to the Special Section "Perspectives on the Reformed EU Judicial Architecture", thereby explaining its key methodological underpinnings and outline. The 2024 reform of the Statute of the Court of Justice of the European Union, the subject of the analysis presented in the Special Section, has sparked a lively debate in scholarship. However, this discussion primarily took place before its entry into force and from a procedural perspective. By taking stock of the early implementation of the reform, the contributions featured in the Special Section advance a multi-perspective assessment that enables a comprehensive picture of the reformed EU judicial architecture and its potential evolution from various angles. To that aim, this publication brings together and puts into dialogue the perspectives of both legal scholars and insiders to the EU judiciary.
