This study analyzes the business model of the Albergo Diffuso (AD), an innovative hospitality solution focused on value creation in the tourism sector. Through a questionnaire-based empirical investigation, the paper explores how ADs combine sustainability, authenticity, and integration with local communities in regenerated historical areas. The model emphasizes partnerships, customization of services, and enhancement of territorial identity. Findings show that economic, social, cultural, and environmental value is created by leveraging local resources, engaging residents, and providing tourists with immersive, high-quality, and authentic experiences. The AD stands out as a sustainable model that revitalizes local economies and preserves cultural heritage.
