This paper investigates the editio princeps of Gregory of Antioch’s homily In mulieres unguentiferas (PG 88, cc. 1848–1866), published in Greek by François Combefis in 1648, after its earlier appearance in a Latin translation (Rome, 1578). Collation with the manuscript tradition identifies Paris. gr. 772 (15th c.) as the most probable source of Combefis’ text.
