This contribution presents the results of research aimed at reconstructing the biographies of some of the tattooed subjects depicted on the posters in the historic collection of the Lombroso Museum. The information gathered has not only made it possible to add new elements useful for more accurately dating the period in which the drawings of the tattooed bodies were made – and thus to hypothesise the moment of the encounter between Lombroso and the prisoners portrayed – but has also been integrated as multimedia content within TATTOO 3D, the new interactive station dedicated to the digital enhancement of the Lombroso Museum's tattoos.

Abstract
This contribution presents the results of research aimed at reconstructing the biographies of some of the tattooed subjects depicted on the posters in the historic collection of the Lombroso Museum. The information gathered has not only made it possible to add new elements useful for more accurately dating the period in which the drawings of the tattooed bodies were made – and thus to hypothesise the moment of the encounter between Lombroso and the prisoners portrayed – but has also been integrated as multimedia content within TATTOO 3D, the new interactive station dedicated to the digital enhancement of the Lombroso Museum's tattoos.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
