This paper presents a wider class of the generalized Bernstein operators presented in Khosravian-Arab et al. (2018), in particular for the ones guaranteeing the second-order approximation property. Numerical results confirm the theoretical approximation order, depending on the choice of a real parameter ℎ, characterizing such a further generalization.

Abstract
