The essay aims to investigate the relationship that Einaudi established with the Academy of Sciences of Turin by examining three phases in particular: the first, characterised by his commitment to promoting interest in economics and finance within the institute; the second, which saw a cooling of relations with the Academy due to the interference of the fascist regime; the last, in which he provided decisive support to this and other scientific academies during the difficult years of post-war reconstruction.
