In addition to being a field of university research and studies, literary tourism is proving to be a precious resource for structuring alternative formulas for the valorisation of sites that are off the ordinary routes. In our paper, we will present an example of good practice set up in a rural and mountain area, the Haute-Provence, where a network of routes have been built around Jean Giono’s novels. We will also reflect on the distinction between literary walks and literary trekking.

Abstract
In addition to being a field of university research and studies, literary tourism is proving to be a precious resource for structuring alternative formulas for the valorisation of sites that are off the ordinary routes. In our paper, we will present an example of good practice set up in a rural and mountain area, the Haute-Provence, where a network of routes have been built around Jean Giono’s novels. We will also reflect on the distinction between literary walks and literary trekking.File in questo prodotto:
