Gliomas are the most common type of primary brain tumor, accounting for approximately 70% of intracranial intrinsic neoplasms. While standard treatment protocols include surgical resection, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy, rehabilitation is essential to optimize functional recovery and improve patients’ quality of life (QoL). Neurorehabilitation is the discipline concerned with the functional recovery of patients affected by diseases of the central and/or peripheral nervous system, including motor, cognitive, and psychological interventions. Due to the complexity of symptoms, multidisciplinary expertise is required to assess the influence of each variable and plan appropriate support and rehabilitation interventions to maximize functional outcomes and improve quality of life. This chapter examines rehabilitation strategies, challenges, and emerging trends in the management of patients with glioma and glioblastoma.
