Abstract
Everything starts from a dream, or rather from a vision. Black Elk, ascetic sciaman of the Sioux Oglala tribe, dreamed of the destruction of his people but at the same time predicted ours. In Maori land Aotearoa, the enduring socio-territorial ties, at different scales, show to the globalized Cyber Age how it is possible not to understand the Earth in the period of maximum knowledge of the history of humanity. In the global overturning of symbolic values we simultaneously find a loss of sociality and loss of sustainability. Aspects that must be recovered in the new dimensions of the educational professions involved in “doing society” and building territorial communities. The educational dimension increasingly requires involving in a team the disciplines actively engaged in the field work, making a “collective mind”. Here has emerged the need to develop territorial and geographical skills for future educators. Social Geography in the emotional dimension, adding to the Human Sciences, can provide useful contributions to assist educational action in the territorial dimension of living well, towards the construction of autonomy in the community, the construction and maintenance of ties and networks. A new transcale educational path is presented that starts from the territorial emotional relationships of our internal self, progressively led to form other communities and transform into an us, into the landscape.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
