Benedetta Cappa Marinetti’s literary output as a whole – her three novels, Le Forze Umane, “romanzo con sintesi grafiche” (1924), Viaggio di Gararà, “romanzo cosmico per Teatro” (1931), Astra e il sottomarino, the “Vita trasognata” (1935) – testify to the need to experiment with new forms of writing capable of testing the porosity of the boundaries between reality and fiction, dream and reality, breaking down the barriers between the arts and genres. We propose to analyse this recourse to boundary crossing by highlighting the degree to which verisimilitude is transgressed and the use of metalepsis. We will also show that the experimentalism of her writing contributes to the construction of her personal, artistic and social identity.

Abstract
We will also show that the experimentalism of her writing contributes to the construction of her personal, artistic and social identity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
