This paper analyzes the legal tech market, a sector that is particularly vibrant and driven by innovation, technological development, and the local talent market, from a dual interdisciplinary perspective. First, through mapping, the main platforms, software, and digital tools available on the market are identified, followed by an analysis of their territorial distribution and the public law aspects that might underlie the identified territorial disparities. Second, a deeper examination is made of the economic relationships underlying the market for technology applied to law, exploring the possible connections between the diffusion of legal tech solutions and a higher concentration of universities, business incubators, professionals in the legal field, and greater local wealth in terms of gross domestic product. The empirical results obtained reveal a complex picture of territorial dynamics, which are not so much determined by socio-economic disparities as by greater market demand and an environment conducive to innovation, also thanks to a higher presence of universities and institutions ready to foster innovative entrepreneurial ideas.
