«Se hai bisogno oggi non puoi aspettare». Questioni di tempo nei servizi a sostegno delle famiglie con minori

The article explores the extent to which a temporal dimension enters the representations of workers of public and third sector, family and parenting support services. Based on a qualitative research study carried out through interviews with key informants operating in the territory of the City of Turin in the field of family and parenting support, the article looks at the role of time in the relationship between services and families, and in the relationship between different services, from a life course perspective. The results show criticalities in the functioning of the local network of welfare actors and divergences between the working time of services and the life course of families, highlighting how time is a fundamental analytical dimension for understanding the transformations taking place in the organisation of social policies and their possible consequences on the life courses of families and children.
