This article explores the governance of gender-based violence (GBV) policies in Italy, highlighting both the critical issues and potential of the adopted multilevel governance models. Through a comparative analysis of regional strategies and a classification of governance systems, the study reveals significant fragmentation and territorial disparities that hinder the effectiveness and equity of interven-tions. Focusing on the Piedmont region and drawing on qualitative research conducted with practitioners from anti-violence centers, help desks, and shelters, the article investigates the dynamics of collaboration and conflict between cen-tral and peripheral actors, both geographically and institutionally. The findings show how access to institutional networks, accreditation mechanisms, and proce-dural standardization can exclude well-established local organizations that are not formally recognized. The article proposes concrete actions to strengthen inter institutional governance and promote territorial specificities.

Abstract
The article proposes concrete actions to strengthen inter institutional governance and promote territorial specificities.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
