The archive of Frantz Fanon Centre, by Roberto Beneduce with Silvia Calamai The interview presents crucial issues with respect to the Special Issue. Beneduce starts from the ethical and political power of archives collecting living memories, while underling – in the case of Frantz Fanon Centre – the impossibility of building an archive because the memories it refers to are alive and require respect and attention that cannot be framed within the mere constraints imposed by the GDPR. He also points out the philological respect for the ethnographic material collected as well as the salvific value of mother tongues.
